News as of 6/25/08: Thank you to all who have made the debut season of Wilkens Chocolates a great success. We have stopped making chocolate for the summer and will be back this fall with more delicious choices of premium homemade chocolate. How it all began...
Back in 1955 or thereabouts, William Wilkens opened "Wilkens & Sons", a candy and ice cream shop in East New York. William's chocolate-making expertise brought people to the store in droves, especially at holiday time! William's secret recipes for the best tasting chocolates have been passed down to his son Paul who has been making chocolate for family and friends for as long as he can remember. Paul's chocolate devotees have repeatedly asked him to make his chocolates available year round. To that end, we're proud to launch WilkensChocolates.com. Paul would like to thank everyone who has helped him make this dream come true.
